Waiver

All participants must complete the Kirkland Sailing Club waiver prior to joining in order to partake in a class. The waiver will arrive by email from SignRequest.

Class Cancellation Policies

If the participant cancels a course reservation, the following refund policies apply.


For Single-Day Classes

  • More than 14 days from the class date; 10% cancellation fee.
  • 14 days or less from the scheduled class date; non-refundable.


For Multi-Day Classes

  • More than 30 days from the class date; 10% cancellation fee.
  • 30 days or less from the scheduled class date; non-refundable.


Class Reschedule Policies

If the participant reschedules a course reservation for ANY reason, the following policies apply.

For Single-Day Classes

  • More than 14 days from the class date; no fee.
  • 14 days or less from the scheduled class date; 50% reschedule fee


For Multi-Day Classes

  • More than 30 days from the class date; no fee.
  • 30 days or less from the scheduled class date; 50% reschedule fee

If Kirkland Sailing Club must reschedule a reservation, due to instructor availability, low enrollment, adverse weather conditions or forecasts, or any other event, the participant will be rescheduled to the next available class session as determined by that student.

Kirkland Sailing Club reserves the right to reschedule a lesson due to adverse weather conditions, instructor availability, or any other factor which, in the sole and absolute discretion of Kirkland Sailing Club, might adversely affect the safety of students, instructors, or vessels. This cancellation may be made by Kirkland Sailing Club at any time before the start of the course.
