Electronic Navigation (Introduction)

This course is a practical and fun introduction to electronic navigation. Designed to teach both sailors and power-boaters concepts that are common across many device types including mobile and in-boat systems. The Course is held in our downtown Kirkland Classroom.

This is an accredited US SAILING class- graduates will receive the US SAILING Nav-1 certification.

This course is available as either a 2-full day class from 9-5 pm or 4 evening sessions across two weeks from 6-9pm.

Some of the coursework will involve the use of Navionics Boating mobile app subscription (purchased separately) on the student’s own tablet (preferred) or smartphone. The course covers:
